Natural therapy

Traditional Eastern Medicine approaches humans in a holistic manner, i.e. as a whole. The objective of the therapy is to do away with all irregularities of the functioning of human organism and to achieve possibly best balance and energetic harmony to let human body recover health without any obstacles. When applying eastern medicine principles one treats imbalances of the organism that could lead to an illness.

The principle that is particularly important in Eastern medicine is “not to harm” therefore the methods of therapy are free from side effects.

The treatment applying warmth and Chinese herbs through acupuncture points.

The base for the moxa treatment is Chinese herb of Arthemisium Moxae. Dried leaves are formed into cigar shaped sticks and used in warming or heating up. The process of moxa preparation is time consuming and lasts from one to three years.

Indications: treatment of many diseases characterised by low level of energy. Moxa-therapy and electro-acupuncture are applied to treat the following illnesses:

  • indigestion

  • stomach pains

  • chronic diarrhoea

  • nocturnal enuresis

  • polakisuria

  • urinary incontinence

  • pain and tension in muscles

  • neuralgia

  • some skin diseases (psoriasis, scleroderma, albinism, eczemas)

  • spinal and synovial pains

According to the Easter Medicine moxa-therapy improves the circulation of Qi energy in the proximity of meridians and blood circulation of the whole body. This leads to the increased immunity of the organism, alleviates pain and restores the proper functioning of the body.

Acupuncture serves restoring the balance of Qi energy in human body. Qi is the condition for the proper functioning of organism that in effect should provide the patient with symptomatic improvement as, for example, reduction of pain.

The technique is based on inserting consumable steel needles in the appropriate places on human body that reflect the most active functioning of internal organs. These places are located along the so called meridians.

Thanks to the stimulation of the points in the body it is possible to decrease or completely dissolve pain and to restore the energy balance in the organism.

Acupuncture is particularly effective in the treatment of the following conditions:

  • headaches

  • migraines

  • rheumatic pain

  • spinal pain

  • chronic and post-injury pains

  • contracture and muscle tensions

  • removal of wrinkles, scars, wounds and burns

  • supplementary treatment of cancer, if permitted by an oncologist

For persons with intense dislike of needles the alternative can be electro-acupuncture where acupuncture points are stimulated by electric impulses.

Cosmetic acupuncture

Cosmetic acupuncture

Through the use of cosmetic acupuncture, the inflow of Qi and blood to the facial skin increases. It reduces the amount and depth of wrinkles, affects the density and firmness of the skin, restores the natural color without discoloration and gives the skin a healthy appearance.

Cosmetic acupuncture therefore works in two areas - on the one hand it improves skin nutrition, which directly affects the cells, and on the other hand, it changes the appearance.

The effect of therapy with the use of acupuncture is palpable - the patient touches the face feeling that the skin is firmer, thicker. In turn, in the mirror he sees that the face oval is harmonious, the skin is raised, radiant and younger.

Cosmetic acupuncture gives first results after 2-3 treatments, and after 10 meetings changes in the number of wrinkles and skin elasticity will be clearly visible. After 10 treatments, it is recommended to continue acupuncture once a month to maintain the results obtained.

It is based on pressing certain points located in feet called reflex areas. Each of those points is reflected in a certain [internal] organ or a part of human body.

By pressing those points with a thumb or fingers the blood circulation improves and nervous system gets stimulated regulating disturbed function of human organism. This method supports the natural process of self-healing.

Weight loss

Losing weight (Auriculotherapy and Electro-acupuncture)

Electro-acupuncture, particularly accompanied by the application of aural “pins” supports the processes of losing weight, weakens the appetite and helps remove toxins from the body.

Electro-acupuncture brings great results in case of chronic problems with metabolism – subdues the nutrostat system, speeds up metabolism, tranquilises and relaxes.

Methods of therapy:

  • Systemic electro-acupuncture, stimulation of certain points on the whole body. The length of therapy depends on individual needs. The decrease of weight is usually perceived following the first treatment series (i.e. 10 acupuncture sessions)

  • Aural acupuncture performed by “pins” – the application of short pins on the auricle. The applied pins remain there for 7 to 14 days. When feeling hungry or experiencing increased appetite it is enough to press the pins against auricle in order to block the feeling.

Both methods may be applied simultaneously in order to achieve faster results. What is important is that the results of slimming are not followed by the “yoyo” effect.

Ear candling

Ear candling

This is a subtle and natural healing method originating from Asia. The candle is in the shape of a pipe that is placed in the ear. While burning the candle hypotension is generated leading to the regulation of the pressure in sinuses. The heat generated by the candle warms up the area surrounding the ear, regulates the peripheral pressure around the head, and stimulates blood circulation, immunological system and lymphatic system. Moreover, by influencing the acupuncture points located in the ear the appropriate circulation of energy is restored in the whole organism and the processes of regeneration are stimulated.

Recommendations for the application of Hopi candles therapy:

  • imbalance of body’s immunity, particularly in frequent problems of upper respiratory system

  • sinusitis and rhinitis

  • irritation of ears and sinuses

  • problems in blood circulation in ears

  • removal of earwax and other impurities

  • local activation of lymph and metabolic processes

  • headaches and migraines

  • tinnitus

Anti addicton

Anti-addiction (auriculotherapy)

In this case a special, precise electrode is applied. The treatment is most effective in combination with traditional acupuncture.

While it has to be stated that the electrostimulation alone does not treat the addiction it may, however, support the therapy, e.g. by soothing the nicotine withdrawal symptoms. Approximately 75% of smokers taking electro-acupuncture stops smoking or reduces the amount of smoked cigarettes. The success, however, depends on the motivation.
